Safer Churches

At Vineyard Church, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for children, young people, and vulnerable people.

We believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, care, and respect. The safety and wellbeing of all people involved in our church community is a priority.

As an affiliated church of Australian Christian Churches (ACC), we are committed to implementing and maintaining appropriate safeguarding practices, including:

  • Compliance with the ACC Safer Churches framework and policies.

  • Adherence to the Australian National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.

  • Screening and recruitment processes for staff and volunteers, including Working With Children Checks where required.

  • Regular safeguarding and child protection training for leaders and volunteers.

  • Clear reporting procedures for concerns, complaints, or allegations relating to child safety and wellbeing.

  • Ongoing review of our policies and practices to ensure a safe church environment.

We encourage anyone with concerns regarding the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person, or vulnerable person to contact us immediately.
